Friends of Bates Athletics


Friends of Bates Athletics (FBA) is a group of alumni, parents, and friends who are passionately committed to supporting athletics at Bates. With over half of the current Bates student body participating in varsity or club sports, and nearly 9,000 alumni having played on some type of athletic team, it is evident that athletics is an important part of the Bates experience. Through financial contributions, Friends of Bates Athletics strengthens the budgets of athletic teams, helping them to become as competitive as possible. FBA also provides an opportunity for Bates athletics enthusiasts to connect at events and gatherings.
