This Website was created by Alumni & Parent Programs so that individual members can maintain and update their information, choose what to share with others, and can find and contact their classmates and friends.
This community is free and is password protected. Only Bates alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends have the rights to access it.
To login, you will need your Bates ID number, which is the nine digit number found on the top of the mail you receive from Bates. Can't find it? Email community@bates.edu to retrieve it.

How do I register?
Click here for the First Time Login (once you go through this, you will create your own unique user ID and password).
Enter your Last name, and your Bates ID Number.
What is my Bates ID number?
This is the number found at the top of your Bates mailing labels.

Still can't find it?
Email us at community@bates.edu and we'll send you your number. This may take a few days, so please be patient.
What if I forget my username or password?
Click on "Forgot your Username?" or "Reset Password" at the bottom of the login screen.
What if I forgot both my username AND password?
Send an e-mail to community@bates.edu and we will reset your account so you can register again.
What is email forwarding?
Email Forwarding is a perminant email address for Bates alumni. It does not work like a normal email address, instead it forwards email to the address that you have set as the destination. Should you change your personal or business email, you can come back to the online community and update this information so that email sent to your forwarding address does not go astray. You can keep your @alumni.bates.edu address for life!
Why is my address information wrong?
The address information in the online directory comes from Alumni records. We want our data to be accurate, so we can best serve you.
You can update the information that appears in the online directory yourself by selecting "Edit my info" in the upper bar. These changes will appear immediately in the online directory and will be forwarded to the alumni office. Thank you for helping us to keep our records updated!
Does the alumni office get the changes I make to my record?
Yes, anything changed in the online community will update for the alumni office.
How do I update or remove my contact information from the online directory?
You can choose what others can see about you by clickin on the "My Prifile" link at the top of the page (under our banner). Click the pencil icon in each content block to then checkmark what you wish to show. The only thing you cannot hide is your name.
Should you wish to be hidden completely from this directory, you will need to be removed from the online community. Contact community@bates.edu if you want to know more about restricting your information.
