FRIENDS OF BATES ATHLETICS |
With over half of the current Bates student body participating in varsity or club sports, and nearly 9,000 alumni having played on some type of athletic team, it is evident that athletics is an important part of the Bates experience.
The Friends of Bates Athletics (FBA) includes alumni, parents, and friends who have an interest in supporting athletics at Bates. Through financial contributions, the Friends of Bates Athletics strengthens the budgets of the athletic teams, helping them to become as competitive as possible. The FBA also provides an opportunity for Bates athletics enthusiasts to connect at events and gatherings.
